“Nothing causes more damage to equipment than the water contamination that exist in all fuel systems.”

Water contributes to Rust, Corrosion, Microbial Growth, Phase Separation, Fuel Gelling and Freezing. One drop of water can destroy an injector, microscopic particles of water can destroy an injector pump as much as a single ounce of water can render your fuel useless and destroy an entire engine.

All fuel treatment manufacturers make claims to Disperse, Remove, Repel and do other things to water. But in many cases what they do is cause more harm than good and at the very best, cause you to use additional services to resolve the initial water contamination problem.

Sentry Treatments eliminate all Fuel / Water problems, Increase Lubrication and Stabilize fuel.

“To keep engines from destroying themselves lubrication has never been more significant.”

Diesel Engines need lubrication for the fuel pumps, injectors, pressure regulators and other components.
Gasoline Engines need lubrication for the valve seats, piston rings and other components.

The lubrication value of fuel has been caught in a downward spiral due to the EPA mandated Emissions and the Refining process’s that squeeze more fuel from the crude oil. And the latest is the mandated use of Ultra Low Sulfur Diesel, ULSD. The process of removing the sulfur also eliminates the components of diesel that provide lubrication.

Now that engine manufacturers and fuel injection manufacturers have had to decrease the levels of emissions produced by their equipment they have been forced to increase fuel pressures and decrease tolerances of pumps, regulators and injectors. It is not uncommon to find fuel pressures that exceed 18,000 PSI and pumps that have tolerances less than 3 Microns.
Sentry Treatments Increase Lubricity

This table shows the ASTM D 6079 Lubricity test.

1 micron =.000039 in. The human eye cannot see anything below 40 microns.

Less microns = More lubrication

Untreated Diesel
538 Microns
Diesel Treated With Sentry
267 Microns

Diesel fuel must be less than 520 microns, anything higher does NOT meet standard requirements.

For this test two one gallon samples of premium diesel were purchased, one was treated with 7.56ml of Sentry.
This is a treatment ratio of 1 to 500. They were both delivered to INTERTEK Caleb Brett a world wide independent testing facility for the ASTM D 6079 Lubricity test.

The untreated Diesel FAILED the test.

The Sentry treated Diesel improved lubricity by 101.4%.

“Fuel starts to deteriorate about 30 days after it leaves the refinery.”

Fuel stability is an issue that has become more significant with today’s new engines and emission requirements. Today’s refineries use a process called Catalytic Cracking to extract more usable fuels from the crude oil. The result of this process is a fuel that is inherently unstable. Independent and University test have indicated that fuel starts to deteriorate about 30 days after it leaves the refinery.

The adaptive hydrocarbon technology of SENTRY treatments keeps fuel fresh for up to 24 months!

The test that is used to determine fuel stability is the ASTM D2274 Oxidation Stability test. All refineries are required to treat the fuel to meet the standards of this test.
